We are now focusing on enhancing value to the parent group through non-traditional channels (promoting Innovation and Centers of Excellence) – to bring the best in terms of our technology and delivery capability; deep expertise, new digital tools and solutions, in combination with the external ecosystem of partnerships – to drive mutualization through 1) Reusable frameworks & tools AND 2) Industrialized capabilities in the form of Business
Factories and Utilities.
Role's Summary:
We are looking at Young MBA Graduates to join this core business strategy team to build out centers of excellence for the organization. These centers could be around business, technological or functional domains across the financial services and corporate services spectrum. The role in this team would involve Business analysis and Program management responsibilities with an expectation to –
- Be on top of Market & Industry Intelligence to identify the next big opportunities for us to build out
centers of excellence around - Prioritize ideas across the organization to crystallize into precise opportunities
- Business analysis to create business cases and value propositions to influence senior stakeholders
- Proof of concepts to deliver on value identified
- Be part of the core team to incubate and build out new centers of excellence
- Program manage and drive scaling up of the identified capabilities
The role provides a unique opportunity to understand business strategies of the SG conglomerate, be ahead of the emerging business and technology trends, apply analytical skills to deliver actual business outcomes, network with senior leadership teams within the organization and most importantly, develop strategic skills that would help you accelerate your career aspirations.
Key Skills preferred:
- Strategic thinking and ability to balance strategy with execution
- Strong analytical and logical reasoning skills
- Broad understanding of financial services industry
- Broad Business and Technology acumen
- Strong articulation skills that would allow engagement with senior global stakeholders
- Independent go-getter with a flair for entrepreneurship
- Strong fundamentals in Investment Banking and Capital markets
- Ability to understand numbers and their impact drive
- Ability to understand the implications of functional change requests and new functionality requests in
new applications being introduced
